ORACY LITERACY IN TYLE (TEACHING YOUNG LEARNERS)

The book deals with the teaching of the English language to young learners. In Part A Metaxeni Symeonidou is concerned about interest, motivation, storytelling, contextualised instruction, lesson planning. In Part B Nikos Papadopoulos discusses particular lessons contained in the 6th Grade current textbook of the English subject in the Greek Primary Schools. Moreover, he suggests alternative lessons to replace the textbook lessons, based on the relevant scientific literature.
